At Dads Matter, our goal is to help Scioto County fathers become the best dads they can be. Our classes provide fathers with the skills and knowledge they need to connect with their children on a deeper level and our case management helps build healthy foundations for success.

At Dads Matter, we will guide you into become a dad who is present, trustworthy, and caring.

​Who is eligible for this program?

Anyone can father a child but being a dad takes work.

​

Fathers play a key role and greatly impact the lives of their children.

Class Information

Class engagement will come through group sessions or one-on-one case management.

​

The group will meet one time per week for two hours for 8 consecutive weeks.

​

These two-hour classes will consist of one hour devoted to our evidence-based curriculum "ON MY SHOULDERS". The other hour will be devoted to fatherhood discussions.

Outside the Classroom

Outside the classroom, one-on-one engagements and case management services are offered. We will help fathers address specific needs that may be a barrier that prohibits them from being the father that they want to be.
