Eligibility:

 

Open to Medicaid eligible expectant mothers who reside in Scioto County or receive obstetrics or gynecology care in Scioto County.

 

We accept women of all gestational ages.

Along with all of the other ways we help mothers, we also facilitate referrals to housing, utility, nutrition, and other social service programs.

Why is this program so important?

Low birth rate is the leading cause of infant death. Smoking is a contributing factor to low birth weight.
